The Vancouver Club Venue
Cheryl and Franz had a gorgeous summer wedding at The Vancouver Club in downtown Vancouver. The building itself is bursting with charm and character – it reminds me very much of old brick buildings we have back in Europe. These are always a dream for filmmakers. The lighting, textures, the elegant decor and minimalism. So dreamy! Vancouver is personally my favourite city in the world, and it makes my job so easy, because everything looks amazing. So, if you are looking for Vancouver Wedding Videography – look no further than here! I will be there to capture it for you in a heartbeat.
I started my day with Cheryl and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready with hair and makeup. They were already looking so beautiful and ready for the exciting day ahead when I joined them! Cheryl’s dress had stunning lace details and she had chosen the most beautiful florals to complement.
Franz and his groomsmen were getting ready upstairs, where they were having a lot of fun playing pool and making great content for the video.
Cheryl did a dress reveal with her bridesmaids and then with her dad – which was so emotional! You can see the genuine awe in his eyes on seeing his daughter in her wedding dress. These are the heartfelt moments that make me appreciate my job so much, every single time.
The Vancouver Club Wedding Ceremony
They chose to have a beautiful candle lit ceremony, which created the perfect atmosphere of romance and sincerity. Franz got emotional during his vows, which is something I always love to see from the groom! Men often feel like they can’t or shouldn’t show emotion, but his emotions were palpable and had other people in the room welling up too. These moments make the video so authentic and wonderful to look back on, years from now.

The Perfect Venue
Cheryl and Franz are the epitome of elegance and class. Their entire wedding was so beautiful and heartwarming, I was so excited to downoad all the footage and create an heirloom film for them. It always creates a little ache in my heart when I have to say goodbye to Vancouver – maybe one day soon, I will finally get to move out there!
Congratulations Cheryl and Franz. Your wedding was a reflection of who you are as people – beautiful, warm, kind, sincere. You deserve all the joy and happiness that was experienced that day, for the rest of time. Thank you for choosing me to be your videographer!
